Episode
Description:
In the sometimes
frantic and transitional nature of work culture, how do you lead
from a sustainable place? Our guest is Dr. Garland Vance,
Co-Founder of AdVance Leadership and author of Gettin’
(un)Busy. Throughout the years, Garland has observed the
profound influence that leaders can have in an organization in
terms of employee retention and engagement. To that end, Garland
works to develop existing and future leaders to cultivate a culture
of trust and strong relationships through positive influence.
Therefore, in this episode, Garland shares his insights on how to
not only become a better leader but to lead from a stable
foundation that will move all of your teams in the right
direction.
Results are essential
to the success of a company. But as a leader, it is equally
important to make space for rest and relationship building. Caring
about your people is one of the most powerful business decisions we
can make as leaders. These components are indeed the essential
building blocks that will create that sustainable place that we
need to lead from.
In this episode,
Garland and Bobby will discuss:
- How to improve employee intention and engagement.
- Creating a workplace where a clear direction is
communicated.
- Taking the necessary steps to navigate stress and accomplish
your goals and mission.
